Thank you<\/strong> to the children and their families who came out to enjoy the 8th annual Wanup Community Adventure PlayDay on June 13th, 2026. I was a little worried when the rain came down during set up but it ended up being a pleasant and sunny day filled with creativity, problem solving, self-confidence and JOY! Join us on Saturday, June 13th from 1 to 4pm for the 8th annual Wanup Adventure PlayDay. This annual free event is a celebration of children’s play and learning as families gather for an afternoon of fun!

\nThe Adventure PlayDay is a temporary version of an Adventure Playground where children are free to explore and create with loose parts and tools. To download a one-pager on Adventure Playgrounds, click here<\/a>.

\n\nPlayDay 2022 –<\/strong> It was a smaller group this year however children along with their families braved the humidity and heat to enjoy an afternoon of discovery, creativity and learning. The sounds of laughter and delight were proof that the children appreciated the opportunity to play in whatever direction their imagination led them.
